 Verified Home from Home Each time we visit the Hotel, we feel so totally at ease and relaxed. Rosemarie and Neil are such wonderful " mein hosts" that nothing is too much trouble. Why home from home? Well being in an environment where comfort and relaxation makes for a good break, means that the Dower house is a great alternative, where you can do the opposite of home, no chores etc. Cocoa loves a visit, especially as he gets a sausage for breakfast.  Verified lovely time i booked it on booking.com i booked the wrong days emailed Rosemary and Neil explained im a idiot sorted the issue when we got to the dower house we treated like old friends Neil and Rosemary introduced there self’s the room is fantastic quiet and beautiful looking forward to a breakfast now but you won’t be disappointed

We stayed the first weekend of January and were both genuinely blown over by both the accommodation and the genuine and friendly welcome from Neil and Rosemarie, plus not to forget Teresa who we met as she prepared our breakfast. These guys love what they do and it shows in the top quality of the accommodation, the genuineness of the welcome and the comfort and quality of everything here. Our room (The Austen Suite) was huge, amazing views, comfy sofa and chairs and massive four poster bed with plenty of top quality linens. Everything to make your stay memorable has been thought of, we had the most relaxing winter break here and can't recommend highly enough

 Verified What a welcome! Received a Hotel Gift card and this was one of the hotels on offer. We love this area although this was our first visit to this hotel. The host greeted us by name on arrival and was attentive without being intrusive. The hotel was immaculate with beautifully decorated rooms. It was quiet, ensuring a good nights sleep and the shower in our room was huge! We had a perfect breakfast cooked to order served by attentive staff before our hosts gave us a fond farewell.  Verified Amazing hotel, staff and location Neil & Rosemary were very friendly and lovely when we arrived and during our stay. Our room was as excellent with a large bed, bath in the room and TV, etc. The lounge where the bar is was lovely and breakfast was all local.  Verified Amazing!!!! Firstly, our welcome by Neil & Rosemary was really friendly & welcoming. When shown to our rooms, they were spotless, beautiful & so so comfortable. The Beds were also extremely comfortable. Service at Breakfast was extremely good. Food was lovely in the Breakfast room.
